Making Blog Time!

I am determined to keep my blog up-dated!  It has been a crazy last few months, and I have literally been so busy that there has been NO blogging time! After reading through other blogs, I decided that I will MAKE time!  So--another period of catching up! :)

On our way to California, we stopped in  Las Vegas for some "un vegas-like fun!"  We like to take Grandma and Grandpa Belnap with us on vacation--Aiden LOVES that they travel with us, and I LOVE that there are extra hands and eyes to watch the kiddos!

Our firstVegas attraction was Hoover Dam--So lame for Vegas, right?!  Nope!  Aiden loved it--and to tell you the truth, I did to!

The over-look was absolutely amazing!  The view was un-real!   Seriously the minds that put that whole idea together, kind of amaze me!

This little guy just made me smile the whole day!  We was so excited about the whole thing!   He asked TONS of questions and was fascinated with the whole "sight-seeing" part of the stop!

Our other Vegas attraction was the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop!  We LOVE the TV show, so it was pretty cool to go inside and see the shop in person!

After stopping at our family friendly Vegas attractions, we hit the road for Sunny California! Adylin didn't mind the car ride--as long as Daddy was riding next to her!

Our first stop in Cali was my personal favorite--Sea World!!  Of course, the rides were the first thing Aiden wanted to do!

Mom always gets nominated to go on the twisty-kiddo rides.  Dad doesn't quite have the stomach for those!

Dad and Grandpa got to do the "big-kid" rides!! Aiden could have ridden Ship-Wreck Rapids ALL day!  He was BARELY tall enough to ride, in fact I think the faux-hawk hair do got him on! He was squealing and laughing every time they went on the ride!

He had so much fun, that he even talked Mom and Grandma into riding a few times!  The boy has mad conning skills!

After the excitement of the rides, we saw a few shows and visited the shallow pools and touched some star fish!

On the way out of the park, Aiden saw the "Atlantis" ride!  I wish I would have taken a picture of the ride itself--it is a HUGE roller coaster/water ride.  It looks absolutely SCARY to me!  But--my little man INSISTED on riding it!  Both Dad and Grandpa were a little leary, but who can say no to a 5 year old more brave than you?!?

They all went--I was having a major anxiety attack while waiting for them to be done!  My baby was going on a big kid ride and I was freaking out for him!  I thought for sure he would get to the top of the coaster and want off! NOPE!  He LOVED it and has now decided that kid rides are lame and only roller coasters are worth waiting in line!
