The absolute highlight of Aiden's California trip was most definitely Cars Land!! He could hardly believe that he was actually in Radiator Springs--Where Lightening McQueen actually lives!!
Aiden, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa waited in this amazingly long line for over an hour to ride on the Radiator Springs raceway!!
Apparently it was well worth the wait!! Aiden was THRILLED and talked about the ride the rest of the day!!
He also mentioned this a few times--He got to meet THE Lightening McQueen!!! Talk about a happy boy!! It just doesn't get any cooler than this for a 5 year old!
We even ate lunch at Flo's V-8 Cafe!! No doubt another big hit with this kid!!
There was no out-doing Cars Land, but we tried! The boys rode some more rides--one of the favorites was the bumper cars!
Sas and Mom spent alot of time just hanging out, waiting for the others!! I wasn't a bit sad sitting on the side lines spending some time with this little beauty!!
Walking and riding rides is just exhausting--and somewhere between the bumper cars and merry-go-round, Aiden ended up in the stroller with Ady! They traveled like this the rest of the Disney experience!
Again, Ty and Sandra SPOILED us and let us go on a Disney Date!! Disney is quite pleasant when it is just you and no kids! We had dinner, rode a few rides and walked around holding hands like we were newly-weds!
As corney as it sounds-- it was "magical!"
