Fair Trade!

People wonder what kind of crazy person leaves "normal" life behind to live in North Dakota in an RV?!  Well, I ask myself that SAME question sometimes!!
And then.....I have moments like these, that make me glad I am where I am!
My brothers also work up here and we get to spend alot of time together!  That never really happened in Idaho, and since my Dad died, they are kindof all I have left!
My brother David takes time for my kids and they know he loves them!  He took Aiden for a day and they rode in the loader, and had lunch.

He was pretty much the coolest dude ever after this!

And this?  This is a relationship that I don't understand!!  Adylin LOVES Uncle David!!  She almost gets in a daze when he is around.  She sits on his lap watching TV and just hangs out--something she doesn't do with anyone else!! He gets kisses and loves without asking, and her own mother has to beg for them!! They are buds--they share a love of licorice (or a love of people feeding them licorice....I am not sure which!) :)
Uncle David is responsible for teaching Ady about soda! Diet Coke to be exact!  She is like a little bird waiting to be fed when Uncle David is around with soda!!  He insists on giving her soda and cookies whenever he is around--maybe that expains that daze she gets into when they hang out??!!

There are alot of feeding pictures--I think Uncle David likes having someone around to feed him to be honest! :)

Uncle David was also responsible for giving Ady her first driving lessons! The things kids learn in North Dakota!!

When Uncle David is on vacation--Uncle Paul will definitely do!

He makes a pretty decent jungle gym!!
So--North Dakota may not be all that glamerous, but it has its perks!  I will look at it as a fair trade! :)
