It didn't take long to get our house "Christmas-ised!" Especially when I have such great helpers! Aiden hung most of the ornaments, and I only had to move them! ;)
As soon as our house was nice and cheery, Jack the Elf came again for his yearly visit! He was up to his regular mischief and did things from gift wrapping Aiden's backpack, to toilet papering our Christmas tree! He even rode on our ceiling fan and played in the cats food!
The kids visited Satna and turned in their lists-- some items on their lists?
Aiden wanted a Furby, Wii games, and Legos
Sassy wanted "two toys!" She later decided that one of them could be a baby doll!
Grandma and Grandpa Belnap came to visit us just before Christmas! They actually came to help me tear into my bathroom and replace the old icky shower with a nice new tub!! Ty is very helpful with home improvements! Lucky me that he likes me enough to come help!
Sassy says Grandpa is a "Nice guy!" I caught the two of them coloring at dinner, and couldn't help but laugh at the family resemblance! ;)
Aiden and Grandma have ALWAYS been buds! Since Aiden was a baby, they have had a close relationship! They are those kindred spirits like Uncle David and Ady.
We took Grandma and Grandpa to the light show at Oak Park. It was our first time, and to be honest--I didn't know Oak Park existed! The nice lady at the DMV told me about the light show and I was so glad we went!
And apparently, my kids were good this year, because we got a special visit from Santa too!!
