Some of you may wonder why we got pedicures in January?! Well, because regardless of how long it took us to get there, we were going somewhere WARM!!
At 5:00am, we left Makoti to catch a 3:25pm flight in Bismarck--only 2 hours away! Why leave so early you ask? Well--this was the visibility and the roads were SLICK!!
We made it to the airport, in one piece--a little less hair, but one piece in PLENTY of time! And then we waited--and waited--and waited! Our flight was delayed 2 hours at flight time and then canceled 2 hours later!
This is the look of 5 sad and TIRED kiddos! What next? Drive 3 hours BACK to Bismarck and catch a 5:00am flight the next morning!
3:00am comes REALLY early--even with hopes of going to Florida! We were at the airport at 4:00am bright eyed and bushy tailed!!
These kiddos were GREAT sports!!! I am sure they were so exhausted, because I know I was!!
A little more waiting and we had lift off!!! Neither one of the kids had flown before, I knew that Aiden would love it, but Adylin was a little stressed! She cried a little at first, which stressed me out. I didn't want to be "that mom" with "that kid" on the flight. She fell asleep about 10 mins in, and all was good!
Next stop?? FLORIDA!!
