This year David and I turned the BIG 31!! We figured we owed it to ourselves to celebrate! We flew to Los Angeles and had a romantic getaway for two!
If your going to go on a trip without the kids-why not go all out and get a car that you couldn't get if you had them with you?!! Well, that's EXACTLY what David did! He was like a little boy at Christmas driving this baby around! I got car sick more than once from all of the "watch this" moves he did around corners!
We spent a few days at the beach, and napping! We slept in until noon most days (another impossible feat if you have kiddos!)
We spent a day--and a night at Universal Studios! I say night because it was "Frightnight at Universal" while we were there and David talked me into being scared out of my mind by professionals!! I think he just wanted me to scream and hold onto him--and it totally worked!
We stayed in a pretty fancy hotel with a private little pond! It was so quiet and relaxing! We ate dinner on the patio at a fancy restaurant--candle lit and all!! We almost forgot reality existed---
But who wouldn't want to go home to these cute faces?!?
