My Dads Wedding

Yesterday my dad got married. My dad has been single for 6 years now, and finally, after 2 yearS of dating/engagment, he tied the knot!
This is my dad and his new wife, Barbara. I remember on my wedding day that my dad had such a hard time....he was sobbing, and after we were married and walking out of the sealing room, he gave me a hug and just couldn't let go!! I found our roles reversed yesterday. I was the one sobbing throught the ceremony and I was the one who had a hard time letting go!

The funniest part of the day was when the little temple lady came in and said that they were going to escort the parents and grandparents of the bride and groom to the room first. We all kind of laughed because I don't think she knew that the couple that was getting married were actually the parents...and grandparents!!

They had their reception/dinner outside. The weather was absolutely beautiful! This is our little family in our matching outfits!

Here are all of my dads grandkids...minus one..little Tayden didn't want to be in the picture. He is a little shy..some day we will have to photo-shop him in all of the grand-kid photos! Boy, my dad has some good lookin' grand kids!!!

I think this one is especially good lookin'!!

My oldest brother David wasn't able to make it for pictures....he was sorely missed...Yet another photo-shop job for later!

Your matching outfits turned out great...even after all the hoops that you jumped through to get them, what with all the minds changing and everything! They look great!
