Finally!!

Ok...so, you have heard me mention the demise of my camera, I guess it is time to tell the story. I had my nieces and nephew here for the weekend, and I decided that it would be fun to let Aiden bath with the girls! They were very excited about it, and as soon as I put Aiden in the tub, he got super excited and started kicking and splashing. Being the "Memory Keeper" that I am, I had the camera ready to take some fun bath tub pictures. Well, I had my camera ready to snap, and Aiden kicked and bonked his head on the side of the tub and down he went...under the water! I am a new mom and sometimes I can over-react..so my first isntict of course was to grap my baby from the roaring tub waters!! I didn't even think about my BRAND NEW camera and down it tumbled into the tub!!!

So..that was the end of my camera! It has taken me a while to convince David that I needed a new one! Every time that I would mention a new camera, he would kindly remind me that he had just recently purchased me a very fine...and expensive...camera, and that I had carelessly dropped it in the tub!! Better the camera than our son I would always remind him!

Monday, I broke his defenses. I suggested that we shop the labor day sales, and get me a camera! Much to my surprise, he said yes!

I have always had a love of photography, and I enjoy taking pictures of Aiden as practice. We had to break in the new camera, so we did a little Fall Photo Shoot. Here are some of my favorites!

You are so talented. I'm glad you got another new camera. :) Is it waterproof? :) j/k I would have done the same thing. You've got to keep up your photography, what a fun hobbie, and you really are very talented at it.
