An Idaho Trip

A month before we moved to the Makoti house, we made the Idaho trip to pack!!  Our cat Jet has made the commute with us since he was a kitten, so it has become second nature to him!!  He plops himself somewhere comfy and we are on our way!
David helped his dad get the crop planted and Aiden helped!!  He loves riding in the tractor with Dad and Grandpa Belnap!

David stayed for the week and then went back to North Dakota and left us to pack!!  Ewe!!  I decided very early on in the packing process that we have TOO MUCH STUFF!!!  We had discussed selling our Idaho house--and even had a realtor come and give us a list price.  But--because we are complete pansys and Idaho will always be our home, so we decided to keep it!!  My mom agreed to stay there and keep an eye on things and take care of the yard, so I felt good about that! We also didn't have to pack EVERYTHING and find a place for it all! BONUS!!

After 3 days of solid packing--I got in a little pampering and then the kids and I made our first "solo" trip back to North Dakota!
My Co-Captain took his seat in the passengers seat and we headed out!
The weather was NOT ideal!! It snowed and rained and the wind blew the whole time!  I am not the most confident driver, especially in bad weather!! So by the time we made it to Billings--I was exhausted!!
After breakfast the next morning--we made the rest of the trip!
Only 4 bathroom stops-7 viewings of Aladdin-2 Sassy meltdowns-4 cherry cokes- and LOTS of snacks later--we made it!  After that trip, I had a new appreciation for single parents!!  Doing everything alone is TOUGH!!
