Since I posted last, the Leprechauns and Easter Bunny found us, and the kids have both grown like weeds!! I keep trying to make the stop--but neither one of them have decided to cooperate!!
Ady had her first hair cut--that's a momentous occasion!! She thought it was great and giggled at herself in the mirror while Miss Jenni did her thing!!
Aiden has become his little sisters bud--and she loves to hug and kiss on him! They don't always get along--we have had our "she's touching me" moments--but for the most part they are best buddies!!
After spending an incredibly cold winter in the RV--we stopped denying that we could make that work for the long term! Living in two places wasn't going to be do-able once Aiden started school, and David traveling alone, was not an option for me. Business opportunities for Real Enterprises were up for grabs, David and Rindee (our business partners) also saw the need to put down roots in ONE place and so we decided LIVE in North Dakota!!!
The search for a house was long and seriously depressing!! North Dakota standards and Idaho standards are very different, and housing here is expensive! We had picked out the area where we wanted to live away from the "oil field" and set out searching!! For 2 months we looked at several different houses and realized we would have to lower our standards a tad or prepare to do some renovations!!!
Then one day--this little baby went on the market!!!
We made an offer on it just 3 days after it was listed and they accepted!! Its a bit smaller than we were used to--but larger than an RV! :)
After a few coats of paint and some minor adjustments--it feels like home!!
If you would have asked me a year ago if I would be living in North Dakota, I would have laughed in your face!!! That wasn't the plan--but it is where we were meant to be right now!!
