She's Here!!!

Our baby girl made an early appearance late Wednesday afternoon! She was 3 weeks early and so I wasn't sure I was actully in labor. At 2:30am Wednesday morning, I started having contractions. I thought maybe they could have been fake labor pains, but at 6:00am when they hadn't stopped, I woke David up and said that we should probably go to the hospital. We woke Aiden up and called my mom to tell her we were bringing him to her house and that we would let her know if we were staying to have a baby. Sure enough....I was dialated to a 5 and they checked us in! Davids mom and dad came up to get Aiden from my mom so she could be at the hospital with us. Aiden was excited to see his sister, and he was a little dissapointed when he came and she was still in my stomach.

At about 1:30, things got a little scary! The babies heart beat was really fluctuating. My blood pressure was a little high and my oxygen levels were low. My contractions had stopped and the nurse was concerned. They put me on oxygen and gave me some fluid. Staring at that monitor for the next few hours was the longest moments of our lives!

Things leveled off about 2 hours later, and my contractions sped up! Just 30 minutes later our baby girl was born!

Adylin Grace was born at 4:02 pm and weighed 6 pounds 8 oz. She was 18 inches long and perfect! 10 fingers, 10 toes and a head of dark hair!

It was love at first sight for this daddy and his little girl!

This mommy was pretty in love too!

We are all so very excited that she is here and healthy!
