Catching up......
Adylins first night went actually quite smoothly. She slept about 5 hours in a row, and that scared me! My first "first night" with Aiden was quite the opposite, and so I anticipated being up every 2 hours. Miss Ady was just tired I guess! :)
This ladies is the man of my dreams! I NEVER changed a diaper in the hospital. This amazing man right here did all of the dirty work and let me sit in bed! I love him!
Aiden got to come and meet his sister that morning! He was so very excited! The smile on his face was absolutely priceless! He was somewhat confused at how the whole process worked out, but was more than happy to see her!
His first big brother duty was to tickle her face and say..."goochy, goochy, goo!"
Aiden loves to hold her....until she starts to cry, and then its someone elses turn!
One of the first things I noticed about my little princess, was her finger nails! They were SO long! So.....one of the first orders of business was a manicure! I look forward to giving many, many more manicures! :)
Later that afternoon we got to take our girly girl home! At first she was not so excited about the car seat.....but has since learned to go right to sleep in the car!
We are now home and I am slowly adjusting to having 2 kids! Aiden is quite the helper, and sometimes over steps his bounds and comes across a little bossy....to me! Yesterday morning, Ady had the hiccups and Aiden was concerned. He said, "Mom! Help her, she has the 'piccups'!" I explained to him that babies get the hiccups and that its normal. He looked at me very sternly and said, "Mom, are you sure you know what you are doing?"

It's a good thing you have those boys around to help you! Lucky girls!
She is precious and Aiden looks like such a proud big brother.
