Easter

Easter festivites were kicked off with the coloring of eggs! Aiden was very excited and could hardly wait to color every single egg! He would drop one in the color and want to take it right out because there were so many to do, and so little time!

Aiden did most of the coloring by himself, with a little help now and then from Daddy.

Once all of the eggs were colored, Aiden insisted that they were now all going to "patch"...or hatch. He would run around the house yelling, "They are patching now! We are going to have baby trains!" I have no idea where he got that idea, but it was funny, so we did not correct him!

The Easter bunny comes to our house on Saturdays....that gives Aiden time to play with his Easter suprizes on Saturday, and it helps us to teach him what Easter is really about on Sunday. This year, the silly rabbit left Aiden a new bike! Complete with helmet and bell! (The bell is his favorite part, and I think he rides his bike, just to ring the bell!)

The boy and the dog spent most of Saturday trying out the new ride! Aiden didn't love the helmet at first, but after he wore it for a while, I couldn't get him to take it off!

Saturday evening, we went to my dads house for dinner and a little "going away" party. He left for his surgery trip that next morning, so it was nice to visit before he left!

It looks like the Easter bunny was very good to Aiden=0) What a fancy bike! I hope everything goes great for your dad. Looking forward to hearing good news updates!
