2 years have FLOWN by!!

Aiden had his 2 year post operation appointment at Primary Childrens on Friday. David had to work, so my mom was able to take the day and come down with us. We made a night/day trip of it so it didn't seem like such a "doctor appointment" trip!

Since our last pediatrician appointment didn't go so smoothly, I was a little bit scared of how Aiden would react! He doesn't love doctors offices, and I can't say that I blame him! But, he ran right to the toys and played until his name was called. They took him back for an x-ray of his leg, and because I am pregnant, I wasn't able to go back with him! My heart broke into a million pieces, because I have always gone with him. Thank heavens for my mom! She was a brave grandma and helped me out!

For some reason, Aiden is not scared of Dr. Jones. I think its because of the bow tie! Aiden was a trooper for his check up and Dr. Jones said that things still look and feel good! He is still worried about re-growth, because these things re-occur in over 50% of cases, and it is usually 2-4 years from the first operation. We are watching things closely, and we will go and see Dr. Jones again next year!

Aiden was a happy boy to be done! He gave Dr. Jones and high five and said, "I'll see ya" as we left the room!

The weather was not the greatest, but Grandma once again saved the day with her umberella!!

We celebrated our 2 years tumor free with lunch at Macaroni Grill and some shopping! Then we fought snow and yuck all the way home!
