Swimming Lessons

Aiden started swimming lessons this last week! Boy was he excited! He talked about it for 2 whole days, and could hardly wait to go "Swimming in the big big pool!"

(My camera had been in the cold car all day....and it was warm and humid in the pool....so some of my pictures came out little foggy!)

Aiden had the best time! It was his first lesson, so they just got compfortable in the water. He learned to blow bubbles in the water, kick his flippers, and move his arms like tiger in the water!

His favorite thing to do was "rescue the duck." His teacher would throw a rubber duck into the middle of the pool and then help the kids save it! Aiden thought that was pretty cool!

We cheated a tiny bit.....Aiden teacher is Kelcie Christensen, whom Aiden adores from church! The Christensens are like Aidens second family, so that made it so much easier for him to trust her!

When we got home Aiden said, "Mom, Kelcie is my very favorite teacher for swimming!"

Melissa THANK YOU for your sweet comment & for sharing with me :) we are coming up on the 4 year stretch as well & it amazes me how long it has already been since we started trying but at the same time it has felt like an eternity with no ending in sight!

I am hopeful it will happen & I know that when it does the timing will be all right & we will understand the reasons "why" but you were right with everything you said. It really doesn't make it any easier. I think the thing that gets me is that we have to make even trying to have a baby be such a Financial choice as well (I am sure you agree).

I wish you the best in trying for your next bundle of joy! Hopefully we can encourage eachother as we go through this :) I'm lucky to have good friends (even though I never see you) in my life :)!

BTW - I am in the primary presidency & I LOVED your post about Aiden's first day of primary! As a leader it was a fun day for us watching all the new Sunbeams take in the day as they went & enjoyed (or cryed durring) Primary

How fun! Swim lessons are so great for kids! Don't you just want to jump in there and swim with him?......especially where it is indoors and probably super warm water! Good job Aiden. I hope you can show me all your new skills this summer!
