2 and a half!

I missed my usual Aiden update on his 2 year, 6 month birthday, so I am catching up now! It is about 10 minutes to 8 on a Monday morning, and my little man is still in bed! A quiet little moment that doesn't happen very often!
Usually, around 7 am, I can hear little footsteps sneaking into our bedroom, and then I feel little eyes peering over the side of the bed at me. He never says anything until I open my eyes, just sits and looks. Then we usually all "suggle" in bed and watch some "toons" until around 8 when Aiden ALWAYS asks for "paycakes", "waffas", or "fwen toast". (I hope I NEVER forget how he says his words right now. He is so very determined to explain things to us in the fullest way possible, and he says things the cutest ways!)
Aidens favorite shows right now are; Dinasour Train, Martha Speaks, Sid the Science Kid, and of course still Thomas the Train.

His favorite color is green, and his favorite food is french fries. He loves teasing the cat, and trys relentlessly to get Mayce to sit still while he pets him. I can usually hear him saying, "No Mayce, I pet you! Stay!" Mayce NEVER listens and Aiden gets frusterated!

Bed time is always the same....after a bedtime story, which for the last 2 weeks has been the SAME Thomas the Tank Engine book, Aiden always says "Dee End....now suggle." I think he usues snuggling as a stall tactic to go to bed. Oh, how some nights I would just like to snuggle in my own compfy bed, but at the same time I love that time with him.

Aiden loves his daddy. They are buds! Aiden gets so excited when he hears the garage door open at night. He runs to the door and pulls it open and yells, "Daddy home fom work!"

When I ask Aiden how much I love him, he says "So much." And when I ask him how long I will love him, he says, "To-ever!"

I love being Aidens mom. I am so very lucky to have him!

Things don't go so well for us in the baby-making department. I find myself again in the middle of fertility treatments, which brings on mood swings, and hot flashes, and night sweats. Time will only tell if we are meant to have another baby, but in the mean time, I am enjoying every minute with the one I have. He is the light of my life, and I look forward waking up to his cute little face peering over my bed every morning.
