Monster Trucks

This last Saturday, David and I decided to take Aiden to the Monster Truck show at the Holt Arena. Aiden loves BIG trucks, and so we knew that he would LOVE the show! All day before the we went, he was saying.."Mom..we go see moster trucks now?" I had to keep explaining to him that the show wasn't until night time.

He was so excited when we got there! He had never seen trucks that big, and was in awe by the loud noises that they made!

A BIG thanks to Sarah and Kris for letting us borrow these ear muffy thingies! The trucks were so loud, and Aiden kept saying." Mom...big trucks go GRRRRRR!"

What is a monster truck show without a little popcorn and soda? Despite our very high up seats, I did make the trek down to the consessions stand to get my little man some snacks!

We had so much fun. Aiden kept saying.."Wow! Big trucks crash cars!" Alex and Andrea came with us, and Aiden had fun bouncing laps between the 4 of us. He didn't stay in his own seat very much despite the $17.00 ticket that I bought him!

About half way through the show, they came up into the stands selling these checkered flags. David and I are MAJOR push overs, and bought Aiden one. He spent atleast 30 mins just waving his flag around! It was worth the money to see his little face light up like that!

We left the show about 11:00, and I thought for sure that he would be out cold by the time we left the parking lot....but...the WHOLE way home he was telling us all about the monster trucks! He said.."Moster trucks fwy," "smash carses," ...he chatted all the way home! He was still talking about it the next morning!
I had debated on taking him, because he is a little young, but I am so glad that we did!

He is so cute! I'm glad you guys had so much fun. We debated taking Tyler but I didn't think he'd sit there that long so we didn't...maybe next year!
