Aiden is a pretty good little traveler, and the DVD player has definately helped that. We decided that since he hadn't had a nap yet, that we would be able to go the back way to Boise and he would sleep most of the way.....we were wrong!! Just past Arco we got stopped for road construction and it started raining and hailing on us. All of the noise woke Aiden up and he was wide awake when it started to thunder and lightening!
I thought for sure Aiden would be impossible after being so rudely awakened, but my little chesse ball was a happy camper!
We kicked off our time with the Belnap's with a trip to Chuck E. Cheese's.
Aiden of course loved the rides, and had to try them all out!
The greatest ride of all was right in Kyle and Ashleighs back yard. Carson and Kylie were nice enough to take Aiden for rides around the yard on their little lawn tractor. Poor Aiden would cry every time they had to come inside!
On Saturday we had a BBQ at Ashleighs mom and dads house, and the kids....and dads went swimming. It was a little cold outside for Aiden's liking, so he didn't stay in the pool for very long!
We also managed to get a trip to the zoo in!
We a fun...much needed...little get away. Thanks guys for a super fun weekend!!

Wow that looks like a fun little get away trip. It's always nice to take a break from the routine. Even if it's just for a few days.
What a fun trip! It's always nice to get away for awhile. My boys LOVE chuck e. cheese. The straw picture cracks me up.

What a fun trip!!! I love getting away from "real life" and doing fun things like that! Better keep your eye on the little man around keys and cars! Looks like he enjoys driving!!!
