The day I went into labor with Aiden, I spent the day lounging on her couch, and we went through all of my "projects" that really meant nothing to me. I didn't remember making any of them, but my mom did.
Yesterday, Aiden drew me a picture. It was just scribbles, but while he was drawing it, he kept saying...'la mum' which interpreted in big people language as 'love mom.' I know now why my mom kept all my "drawings." She probably remembered the cute things I was saying while I was drawing pictures, or the silly things I said about a certain scribble.
Well, Picaso ain't got nothin' on my little man!! He is an artist! I was so proud that I took pictures....I know...what don't I take pictures of??

I too save every picture my boys have drawn for me. In fact they drew pictures to welcome Daniel home from one of his many trips and they are now hanging on the wall in our bedroom. It's never about the actual picture because sometimes they are hard to make out it's more about the thought behind it. You'll only get worse I'm sure of it. LOL. But thats ok.
How sweet! Moments like those are just the best. My mom was just like your mom about all my projects, & I'm afraid I fall under the same category as well. :)
You better get those scrapbooks purchased now...you've got alot of collecting and memories to hang on to now!
that's awesome! Those things are special. I feel horrible to throw any of them away, but I can't save them all. It looks like Aiden might be a lefty!
I LOVE the little things they color!! I just matted and framed some my little niece did. I love having little scribbles on my wall!! :)
