As if we don't have enough to do, we have added farming to our list! This past fall David and I, along with his parents, decided to buy Grandma Ormes 60 acre farm that sits behind our house. While farming is no new thing to either David or Ty, it has been a new experience for us all! After a very long day (and night) of planting, we anxously awaited the sprouting of our little wheat plants! David would go out on a daily basis and check the ground for little green sprigs! I think all of us were a little bit nervous that it may not come up! But.....TA DA! We have sprouts! I finally got out today and got some pictures of our baby crop! Hopefully the weather will cooperate with us this season and help us "newcomers" out a bit! Cross your fingers for us!

That is awesome... CONGRATS! With the wheat shorage this year (so I hear) you guys will do awesome. That just reminded me of FOOD STORAGE. Well good luck! I am excited for all of you! Keep us posted!
Cute new blog as well... I need to change mine up. I get bored!
Good luck you guys. :) I'm sure Grandma is so relieved to have the farm off her hands and not have to worry about renters any longer. :) We'll be praying for a good harvest. :)
Shayna, I get bored with my blog too! I think a nice facelift every once in a while is good. Where do you find your cute backrounds?
