Idaho Sod.....Bear World?

Hey everyone! Funny thing happened yesterday. David called from the farm and said that I needed to call animal control. Thinking that he was making a joke about the guys that work out there, I just laughed. But he reassured me that I really did need to call animal control, because there was a baby bear wandering around on the grass! Thinking this was a pretty unusual thing, I called the Sherrifs office, who in turn put me through to Fish and Game. Apparently, they weren't very worried about the little guy, because about 2 1/2 hours later when they did finally show up to the farm, the little cub had gone and hid! David said they showed up with 3 or 4 fish and game guys, and the cops! Should have hurried I guess because they never found our little visitor! Apparently bears out that direction aren't all that un-common! Who knew? I told David that Aiden and I should have come out to see it, we could have saved a ton of money by not having to go to Bear World! Anyway, that is my unique blog-worthy story for today!

Whoa! That doesn't happen very often, does it! So is Bear World still thriving? Have you guys ever gone through it?

I don't think it does, but the fish and game people wanted to put us ease I suppose! We have been to bear world one time, and it was back when David and I were dating, sooo.... 7 years ago! When we went, all the animals were sleeping, so it wasn't very exciting, but the gift shop was cute!!

No kidding! It was like no biggy! And I just kept thinking, where there is a baby bear, there is a mamma bear somewhere! I told David to stay in the tractor!!

Crazy!!! Luckily it was just a little guy. Not that that makes you feel any better though. You should've called Trent! He would've been right out there.
