Ok, so I have my first blow-out story, and it is a good one! Saturday night I was getting ready to go on our weekly "Mommy-Daddy" date night, and Aiden was jumping in his Jumparoo. Suddenly things get very quiet, so I poked my head out of the bathroom and saw him straining to do his "business." It usually takes him a few minutes, so I try and give him his space, but in just a few seconds I heard laughing and squealing again from the bedroom. I decided that he probably wasn't finished so I thought that I would wait a few minutes, and then I looked down! He had blown completely out of his diaper, all down his legs and onto my carpet! Not only that, but he was now boucing in it! It was the biggest mess I have ever seen! Needless to say, I put him straight in the bath, and threw the clothes that he was wearing right in the garbage! We ran a little late for our date, and we had to borrow a carpet cleaner!(Thanks Sandra) I took pictures just to show David what a "real poopy diaper" looks like! I won't gross you out by sharing the actual "poopie pictures" but I will show you the wonderful stain in my carpet!(It did come out, Thank you Scotch Guard!)

That is quite the stain. Good thing it came out! Oh, the joys of motherhood!!
I have to admit that i laughed hard over that experience! good thing that it all came out! He is a doll! Keep that for when he starts to date.. I am sure he will love that story being told!
I plan on making a "Poopie" page in his scrapbook, and keeping it on hand for when he needs some "perspective" in his teenage years!!
Oh the joys of those nice full diapers. I'm glad you took a picture to show David what a really bad one looks like. It always makes me laugh when Andy is changing a diaper and calls for help and I run in thinking it's going to be a montrous mess...and then look and think...hey, that's not so bad. :)
