The day that school got out we headed to Idaho!! We had told the kids about 4 months before that we were going to Disney World for summer vacation--but they were more excited that Grandma and Grandpa Belnap were coming with us!! We stayed a night at Grandma and Grandpas and then headed to Salt Lake to fly to Florida!
The kids were in vacation mode right away and wanted to swim!!
After pulling the kiddos out of the pool--we managed to get them to bed so we could get up early and get to the airport! We
had breakfast at the and airport hotel and then we were off to the airport to wait for our plane!
A short wait and a few silly selfies later we were Florida bound!!
We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Resort so we spent the first day in Florida at Animal Kingdom!
Adylin got to meet Donald Duck AND Goofy and Pluto while Dad, Aiden and Grandma and Grandpa rode a few rides!
We wandered around the park and then took a safari ride!
We were able to see all kinds of animals right up close, but a unanimous favorite were the elephants!
The Animal Kingdom Resort Kidani Village is right in Animal Kingdom and you can see the animals from the patio.
Our first night we ate dinner at an African style buffet, Boma. The food was amazing, but the desert was even better!
After we had stuffed ourselves completely full--we swam; of course! ;)
Grandpa was the water horse more often than not, and Aiden spent hours on the water slide!
