Unfortunately, vacation CAN'T last forever! :( Reality hit us HARD!! We returned to -23 with a wind chill of -46!! WELCOME HOME said Mother Nature!
The first morning home, Adylin woke up and went into the living room and started screaming with PURE EXCITEMENT!! I ran in to see her pointing at the window and she said" Mom!! Selsa(Elsa) came to our house!" If you have to have frost on your window, its always better to think that its there because a Queen visted your living room! :)
I think "Selsa" brought the flu bug with her to our house when she visited!! Just a few days after basking in the sun, Aiden was running for the bathroom and laying in bed!!! I took him to the doctor after 3 days of him not feeling good, and they told me it was Influenza A, and to wait it out! I hate waiting it out--but that's what we did!
And while we were waiting-- the bug got the other kiddo!! It was 2 LONG weeks of sickly babes at my house! I blame the extremely long and cold winter we had this year--or "Selsa!"Once we got past the sickly phase in our house, it was time to go "Home" one last time! We have been in North Dakota for 2 years now, and we really do love it! We had debated, over and over and over on weather to sell our house in Idaho. We came to the conclusion, that we can't have one foot in each state! We had to put down roots and choose a location! So--we sold our Idaho house!!
There were SO MANY firsts in this house!! David and I built this house in 2004, 3 years later we brought our first born baby through the front door! My baby boy crawled for the first time here--walked for the first time here and learned to talk here!! We brought our baby girl through the same front door 4 years later!! We were so happy here!
But--its time to plat 2 feet in our new "Home" of North Dakota, and make new memories!
While we were in Idaho, Aiden and I went to see the Dentist! Just so happens, our Dentist is my Uncle and he squeezes us in whenever we make it to Idaho!
Aiden is the cavity kid--and knows his way around a dentist chair!! Me on the other hand had NEVER had a cavity in my life! And then--at 31 years old; I get a cavity!!! Go figure!!
Me and the little man were numb buddies for the rest of the day!
