Easter Festivities!

Friday morning we woke up to SNOW!! I was more than irritated and I said to David, "I bet that Boise won't have snow for their Easter egg hunts....we should go there!" I thought David would laugh at me, but he said, "Ok!" Needless to say, we were in the car about 2 hours later headed to Boise for the weekend! Kyle and Ashleigh were ever so gracious to let us come so LAST MINUTE!!!

Aiden adores the other Belnap kids, and so he was so very excited when we told him we were going to Star!! He about jumped out of his jammies!!

Saturday morning we all got up early to kick the day off with an early morning hunt. It was a little chilly, I am not going to lie, but we stuck it out!

David coached Aiden on 'egg hunt strategy's' and the hunt got under way! While the bigger kids were getting their fill of hunting eggs, me and the little miss hung out on the side lines!! She was one happy babe! She smiled and giggled until her little nose was so cold she decided it wasn't that fun!

The kids got quite a haul! They were all pleased with their baskets full of fun goodies!

Later in the afternoon, there was another egg hunt that the city of Star put on. It was much, much warmer by 12:00 and the kids were all practiced up for the next hunt!

Aiden LOVES Kylie, and holding her hand. If he wasn't with her, he was with Lexi, and always holding their hands!

The Easter Bunny was there to meet the kids, and most of them were excited about him! Carson didn't really want to have anything to do with him, but the other kids jumped right in and gave loves and posed for pictures!

Again while the big kids hunted, me and Adylin giggled on the side lines! :)

After lunch and a little shopping, we went back to Kyle and Ashleighs and colored some easter eggs!

When all of the coloring was done, the kids played and played and played!! Aiden had so much fun hanging out with his cousins!

Lexi was my little friend the whole weekend. She is the funniest little girl ever!! She was always telling me about treats! Everything she talked about had treats involved! I could listen to her stories all day!

She LOVED Adylin and would "make hers happy!"

Seems everyone was a little taken with her! Adylin found a few new friends! She would smile at Uncle Kyle every time he talked to her!

Later that night, after the kiddos had gone to bed, we parents waited up for the Easter Bunny!

He left all the kids a pretty good haul! Aiden was nervous tha the bunny wouldn't know he was at Carson and Kylies house, but sure enough the next morning, that bunny had found us!

Aiden got a new big ball, new summer clothes and LOADS of candy!

We had a FABULOUS weekend, and both David and I commented on how tired we were!! Haha!! All the excitement wore us out too! Thanks again Kyle and Ashleigh! We had so much fun!
