Adylin's Blessing Day

Today we blesssed our sweet baby girl! We did things a little "un-traditional" and let my Dad bless her. It was an amazing experience for him and we feel so blessed that he is here to be able to do it! Adylin SCREAMED through the entire blessing....she is a bit of a Momma's girl and so I had a feeling that she just might not love the cirlce of men! She didn't! But....my Dad gave her a beautiful blessing inspight of the crying. He said that he was only talking to her anyway, so who cares if no one else heard it!


He blessed her with health and streangth and a desire to learn the gospel. He told her how much her Dad loved her, and encouraged her to learn from her mother. He told her to listen to her primary teachers and learn good from others.
I didn't get alot of pictures of the day because Ady was darn sick and tired of her big dress!! She couldn't wait to get out of it!!
My dad is in awe of her and LOVES to hold her!!

He had her smiling and cooing....and HUGE difference from the fussy crying mess she was during her blessing!

These girls SAVED me this weekend!! They both came and helped me make a million cupcakes and Sarah made the potatoes for the dinner! They are AMAZING friends and I couldn't ask for better BFF's!!

Since I didn't get alot of pictures of the actual blessing day, I was glad that I took the time to get pictures of Adylin all dressed up before the big day! Here are some of my favorites!
