Merry Christmas!

Christmas was extra fun at our house this year! Aiden loved the idea of Christmas and Santa and presents! Seeing him so excited about everything made it more fun for David and I!

We started off our Christmas festivites with annual gingerbread house building! Aiden was so excited to help!

He did a pretty great job, and he only ate a few pieces of candy in the mean time!

On Christmas eve, Aiden always gets to open one present, and its ALWAYS........

CHRISTMAS JAMMIES!

I thought that Aiden would LOVE his Thomas the train jammies, but, he kept shaking the pants like he thought there was something hidden in them!

We spent Christmas Eve night with my Brother and his family. We ate fondue, and played games!
Aiden loves playing with his cousins, and he cried when it was time to leave! We had to remind him that Santa was coming, and then he was OK with leaving!
Just before bed, we got Santas goodies all set out! Aiden wanted to stay up and make sure that Santa knew he left him cookies, but after I told him that Santa couldn't leave presents until all little boys were asleep, he was more than willing to have me tell Santa where his treats were!

Aiden went right to sleep! I wish Santa came every night.....bed time would be so much easier! :)

Once the house was all quiet, and Aiden was fast asleep, Santa came!
Aiden slept in until about 9:00.....he was completely worn out from playing the night before! He came running into our room and said" Santa came, I know it!"

The first thing he noticed was the empty plate where he had put santas cookies! He was actually kindof upset! He looked at me with a little bit of disgust, and said, "Mom! Santa ate ALL of my cookies all gone!"
Once he figured out that Santa trades cookies for presents, he was more than fine with the fact that Santa didn't save him any cookies!

All Aiden wanted from Santa was Woody! After opening several presents that weren't what he had specifically asked Santa for, he got a little frusterated! I handed him another presents, which happend to be a movie, and he looked at it and said, "Mom, is there a tiny Woody in here?" I think he thought that Santa had forgotten the most important thing!
BUT.......HE DIDN'T!!

After he had finally opened Woody, Aiden said, "Mom, this is a pretty good christmas day today!"
We spent the rest of the day visiting family! We had lunch at with Davids family, and dinner with my family, and Aiden got his fill of playing with cousins!
