Fall Fun!

What fun would fall be without a trip to a pumpkin patch!! Last week we did just that!!

(It was game day....so of course we were wearing our "game day" colors!)

Aiden was so excited to see this little train! If there is a train....Aiden will love it! He would have sat there all day and watched that train! Instead, we talked him into going through the straw maze so we could ride the train!

I love this picture! The kids were all sitting together waiting for the train to come around and pick them up!
Aiden was so excited to get to ride in the caboose! Every night we read a story about a little caboose, and he loves it! I have to hide it some nights because I get so tired of the same story over and over! (Someday he will read this and know my secret!)
Aiden loved riding the train until the train actually started moving! All of the other kids wanted to ride in the passenger car, but Aiden insisted on riding alone in the caboose! As soon as the train pulled away from us....Aiden was crying! David had to walk with the train the entire time! He is such a good daddy!

The wheel barrel was a much better situation for him!! Mom and dad could walk along the side, and Kris was doing a masterful job of pulling it! Next time, we will know to just watch the train and maybe wheel him around the patch!

Aiden picked up every green, gross, or disfigured pumpkin and said "This one?"

We went back to Sonyas house, where we had the most AMAZING fondu!! We were all so stuffed, but we just kept eating! We finally had to take a break from eating to carve pumpkins! David and Aiden did the honors of gutting! Aiden loved it....David, not so much!

Here is our mean batch of pumpkins all lit up!

My birthday was the day before, so Sonya had made me a cake! She pointed out that she had to buy 2 boxes of candles to fill the cake!! Ahhhh! 2 boxes? I am getting old!

Well, it was the thought that counts! I wished that from this birthday on, that I would age like Demi Moore!! Here's to hoping, right?
