The Days of Summer

I am a little behind on posting all of our "summer" activites. Summer wouldn't be complete without a trip to the state fair!

Aiden loved the animals! That was the only reason he wanted to go to the fair. He kept telling us that we were at the "zoo fair."

This little horse was the cutest little thing! I wanted to trade Gunner for him!

Another one of our usual summer activites is heading out on the boat. Our little farm takes alot of time in the summer so we haven't had much time to boat this year, infact, we have only been twice, and the first time we weren't even able to get in the water because a thunder storm blew in! So, we took advantage of some nice weather, and harvest being done, and took a boat ride.

Aiden loves the boat, and has spent alot of time just sitting in it in Grandpas shop! He was so excited to actually take it on the water!

He even dipped his toes in the water! It was FREEZING!! All of the cool weather has really cooled the water off!

David and Grandpa were the only brave souls to brave the frigid water and wake board! I am a 85-90's kind of water sports girl! Everyone else enjoyed watching!

We always end our boating trips with a stop at Maverick for frozen yogurt! (That is everyones favorite part!)
This last Saturday was Spud Day in Shelley. My mom and I decided to go and see my brother and his family in the parade. Aiden usually loves parades, but this one was not his favorite. While we were waiting for the parade to start, Aiden got stung by a bee! His little forehead swelled right up! The pain of the bee sting subsided when he realized that people were throwing candy!

After a few handfuls of candy, he was more interested in counting and stashing than catching any more!

Our most FAVORITE summer activity is watching Bronco Football! We ended the day on Saturday watching a fantastic game! Broncos won 54 to 6!! Love games like that!
