Being a mom.....

I am sure that all moms wonder if being a mom is all its cracked up to be.....its really not the most glmourous job I know! Messes, tantrums, dirty diapers, laundry, throw-up, runny noses....I can think of alot of jobs that pay alot more, and are less hectic....but none that I would want over this one!

I LOVE being a mom. I am so lucky to be able to be home with him all of the time. I know he probably gets sick of me, but I love just being mom. The truth is, I am not perfect....by a LONG shot! I find myself giving in to his tantrums, and for-going the house work just to sit next to him and watch a cartoon. I occasionally give him candy before dinner, I sometimes stay in my PJ's half the day....and sometimes I leave dirty dishes in the sink. I have come to realize that that is OK! The dishes will still be there after Handy Manny, and if someone comes to the door and I am still in my PJ's, then they will know not to drop by with out calling first! :)

Aiden has been napping for a few hours, and the house is quiet. Its funny really, some days I can't wait for him to take a nap, and then when he is sleeping, I find myself wondering when he is going to wake up!! Its sad, I know.....I get bored when he is sleeping! I always think to myself what I would be doing today if I didn't have Aiden......what a BORING life!!!

There is nothing better than waking up to the sound of a little voice calling your name from the other room!! You really can't help but wake up with a smile!!
