Bitter Sweet!

This morning our little Scottie was set apart as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. What an honor it was to be there for that! Scott is an amazing young man and will be an incredible missionary. When David and I were getting in the car...tears streaming down our faces, David said. " Imagine how hard it will be when it is Aiden!" While we still have 18 years left to get ready for that, the 7 years since we have know Scott have really flown by!

I have been thinking all morning about fate, and how things just seem to work out. 7 years ago, my mom and dad had divorced, and the cute little lady that owned the gas station down the road called and invited my dad to a singles activity. They began dating and we got attatched!! Needless to say, things didn't work out with them, but the friendship that we built with the Wetherells will be life long. They are family to us, and I thank my lucky stars every day that they were brought into my life!
