The Sickies!

Both Aiden and I have had a touch of the "sickies" this week. I woke up Monday morning with a monster sinus headache, that in turn became the runny nose, sore throat, miserable cold that I am still battling. To top that off, around 2:00 on Monday, Aiden began throwing up. At first I thought that maybe he had just eaten something not so good, but later that evening, we went to Davids parents house to borrow their carpet cleaner to clean up the first mess, and he did it again in the car! It is one thing to be sick yourself, but when your baby is sick to....that is torture!! Since David took almost 2 weeks off of work for the holidays, he wasn't able to stay home with us. That is usually my luck!
So, for the last 3 days we have been pretty pitiful! I now have the throwing up under control, but now my poor boy has the same miserable cold that I do, and a sick belly!! To top it all off, the poor boy is working on getting in two molars! Whew!!
Aiden knows no boundries however, and believes that he can still be Mr. Independent. He still tries to play as hard as he always does, and then isn't quite sure why he is so tired! When he realizes that he is infact "worn-out" he lays on the floor and holds his hands up unitll I come and get him. Ya gotta give him credit for knowing when to throw in the towel I guess!!
We will continue to forge ahead...red nosed and all! This to will pass!

Sorry to hear you two are sick. That really is no fun. I think the sinus cold is running rampage with every one. My boys too have it. The glories of winter time .......

I feel awful.........I hope we didn't give you our germs! I tried to stay away from Aiden as much as I could. I still have a sore throat. Carson is almost over his cold. He never did throw up again, so I think I just shoved too much food in his mouth that night! I really hope you both feel better soon! I know it really stinks, when you are sick and have little ones to take care of on top of it! IT doesn't get too much harder than that!! Hang in there!
