I have never been away from Aiden for longer than 3 or 4 hours before, so overnight was a huge deal for me!! I was a wreck for the first hour or two, but after several phone calls to my mom, she assured me that he was just fine and to have fun!
Grandpa Doug had all sorts of fun things planned for the two of them to do together! At the top of the list was a trip around the yard on the 3-wheeler!
Aiden helped do the dishes! I don't know how much help he was, but it made a cute picture anyway!!!
This was Aidens first bath in a kitchen sink!!! He reallyliked it, I may try that at our house!
I was so excited to get home and see my handsome boy! Two whole days of all I want shopping, and all I could think of was my little man! I never imagined how much I would miss him! I definately missed him more than he missed me!
A big thank you to my mom and Doug for taking such good care of my boy!! He was exhausted when we got home, so he must have had a great time!!

Shop till you drop? That is my idea of a fun weekend! That is great that you had some time together. We still haven't left our kids over night. We are both kind of wimpy in that area! Good for you!
Good for you! I know how hard it is leaving your babies but those special getaways are so needed every once in a while. I'm glad you and David and Aiden enjoyed yourselves.
thats a huge step in the parenting department im not a pro but i can tell you it gets easier the more you have just harder to find people to take them (much harder)!! he is so cute!!
