The "condensed version" of the last 4 months! :)

I am so behind on my blog lately!  In hopes of getting caught up....I will try and give you the short version of our summer!!
I lost my Dad in June, and since then, I have honestly just checked out of most things! Although we were told he didn't have much time, I was not prepared to actually live without him!  It has taken me a while to be able to sit and look through pictures of the summer, because I always find ones of him.  I miss him every single day!!  It has been a blessing that we have been so amazingly busy this summer, it keeps me from feeling sorry for myself!   This picture was taken just 2 days before he died. I am so very greatful for the time that I got to spend with him!  We got to say our goodbyes and we got to say what was on our minds.  He is watching over me, and I feel him with me alot.

Dads funeral was the day before Fathers day....made for a very different holiday for me!  We had a picnic at the cemetary.

The 4th of July is my Dads birthday, so we got a few major holidays out of the way pretty quick!  This year, we went to the Rexburg Parade with these other hooligans!

And then we stopped and got my dad all decorated for the festivites!

Later that night we rented a hotel room on the river and watched to fire works with these hooligans! :)

Our family also started a new tradition this year.  We started the David L Hathaway family reunion.  We cooked out in our back yard and just enjoyed each others company! We were able to get a family picture, which we hadn't done since my wedding in 2001!!  ALOT has changed since then!

We had cupcakes and sang happy birthday to my dad, and the kids each got to blow out a candle.

Back in June, David took a job in North Dakota and he was traveling back and forth.  My brother thought it would be a fun idea for me and the kids to go stay for a few weeks.  We packed up and headed out for 2 weeks.  Our 2 weeks turned to 6 weeks,  and our 6 weeks turned into us buying an RV and living part time in Parshall, North Dakota!

We spent the HOT HOT summer days hanging at the lake.  Almost every day!!  Rough, right??!! The kids LOVED the lake and they would have gone every day if I had let them!!  Adylin was a little fishy...well, mostly she liked to eat the rocks, but she liked the wather too! :)

The lake was much more fun when Miss Carlee Mae came with us!  She was an only child for a few weeks, so both kids enjoyed each others company!!

We were able to take a break from being "beach bums" and go to the Minot fair.  Uncle David constantly insists on feeding Miss Ady yummy, sugary items.  He couldn't wait to share his sno-cone!!

The boys got to fish, and Aiden caught his first fish.....

And the little Miss got her first teeth!!

A circus came to Parshall while we were there, and so of course....we went!

Aiden got to chill with this dog and he got to help the clown with a magic coin trick!!  On our way back to our camper, Aiden was SURE he wanted to be a circus performer!!

My baby girl had a few 'month' birthdays while we were gone.  This was her 9 month photo shoot, and Mr. Dude joined in!!

Miss Ady has hit several milstones while in North Dakota!  She is now a crawler!  She is very mobile and into EVERYTHING!!!  She now has 4 teeth....2 right in the middle on the bottom, and her fang teeth on top!  She looks like a little vampire!
Aiden is doing home preschool and is a very smart boy!!  Almost too smart!!  I sit down to do a daily lesson and he gets bored VERY quickly!! We have had to really adjust how we learn things...he has to be doing an activity all the time, or he looses interest.
David is LOVING his new job, and I am LOVING that he loves it!!  I would have never thought I would be the gypsie kind, but I love going with him!  We have been loving our new adventure in life!!  We are happy!  Life is good!
