This year for New Years Eve, we decided to make a day trip to Salt Lake with Davids parents. We had planned to have lunch at the Mayan, but we didn't realize they didn't open until 4:oo pm, so we settled for Burger King....Grandpa decided to let Aiden play in the play area, which I NEVER do....but, I figured that after a 3 hour car ride, he deserved to have a little fun!
After lunch....and a whole package of anti-bacterial wipes later, we geared up for a little shopping. They had a fun little mini carousel at the VF mall that Aiden got to ride on.
Okay, Okay....I rode too!
This fun chair was just sitting in the middle of the mall....so we took advantage and got a family photo!
After shopping, we headed out to Temple square to see the lights.
We had a really fun time...and despite the moments of squealing from Aiden wanting to be 'all done' on the way home....we think that we might just make this a yearly tradition!

I am glad you had such a fun day. I really wanted to see the lights too. Kyle had to work though.......what a bummer. Next year for sure! Happy New year to you guys!
