LUCKY!!

So about 1 month ago I was frantically running about the house getting ready to go to an appointment one evening, and I had my cell phone in the back pocket of my pants, when I realized that I needed to use the facilities....so with out thinking I rushed into the bathroom, and before I had even sat all the way down, I heard a painful plopping sound....my cell phone had fallen into the toilet!!! Without thinking I plunged my hand in and pulled out my sopping wet phone. Well, lucky for me, David had experienced something similar last summer when his cell phone fell into the ditch...we knew to turn it off and dry it completely out before trying to turn it back on. Lucky break #1....we let it try out on the heater vent over night and the next morning it worked like a charm!!
Well, this morning I was doing my normal morning thing, and realized that my cell phone was missing. In my house when anything is missing, Aiden is usually the culprit....well I found Aiden in the bathroom, and my cell phone again completely submerged in toilet water!!! I was for sure that there was no way that my phone could handle a bath twice!! We quickly grabbed it and turned in off and I set out with a blow dryer to get the drying job done in a hurry.....Lukcy break #2...IT WORKS!!!
So, that is my happy post for today!! Thanks for reading about my luck....toilets.... and cell phones!!

On a different note: IS ANYONE ELSE SICK AND DARN TIRED OF THIS MISERABLE WIND????

r u kidding me who in their right mind living in Idaho isn't tired of this stupid wind. It's horrible. I would enjoy a nice sunny warm day with no wind what so ever. Just in case mother nature is listening.:)

Do you remember my coveted car starter that everyone wanted? Well, it also fell into the toilet and I dried it out and it still worked. Then the chain on it that connected it to my keys broke and I couldn't find it anywhere. One day while I was waiting for Hallie to come out of preschool, I noticed it on the ground of the teacher's driveway. It had been ran over and rained on! After all of that it still worked, but it messed up the lights in my dashboard. Anyway, I ended up throwing it away. :(

You are lucky! You better go buy a lottery ticket! he.he. Kylie liked to slobber in my cell phone, right in the part that is not suppose to get wet. I wasn't as fortunate as you, I had to get a new one! I am ready for good weather, and sick of the wind too. We are in for a nice weekend it sounds like. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dropped my phone in the toilet a couple of years ago and it still worked after that. I did the exact same thing as you...back pocket. I still remember what pants I was wearing that day! Crazy.

Wow, they sure make those durable these days. I left mine on the roof of my car on accident, drove off heard it fall, stopped to get it just in time to see in get ran over by a car, picked it up, put the battery back in, and made a call, IT STILL WORKED! It's lost now though, haha.
